John, a civil engineer speaking for the township’s consultants, told the board that the York County Planning Commission funded a Memory Lane capacity study for $125,000 to look at the corridor between Market and Eastern Boulevard. He said that the funding is expected to be spent between 2025 and 2027.
John also reported that Kinsley had to relocate a fire suppression tank because of Route 83 widening and had obtained zoning-relief to move the tank. Sherry Wolf of Bootgarten Horn stood in for the consultant who previously gave a progress report and asked whether the board had any questions about the written update.
The board did not take further action on the study at the meeting; the engineering report was presented as information and the study is a county-planned effort to examine capacity at the noted intersection and corridor.
