Township honors Lieutenant Brian Wilbur for 26 years of service

The resolution expressed the board’s appreciation for Wilbur’s "dedication, faithful public service, and leadership" and congratulated him and his family.
The police chief praised Wilbur’s behind‑the‑scenes work — citing accreditation, creation of the department’s honor guard, technology and policy work, patch and vehicle design, and drafting the department mission and values — and presented a retirement badge and one service weapon to Wilbur. The chief said Wilbur had been his confidant and described him as a trusted adviser: "he would look at me and say, hey, did you ever think about this this way?" The board recessed briefly for applause and thanks.
