Supervisors award park-sign contract and approve grant applications for safety equipment

The board also adopted Ordinance No. 2024-42, which authorizes appointment of a solicitor to handle interest assessment and fees for unpaid municipal delinquent accounts. In finance items, the board approved Resolution No. 2024-48 to designate an additional depository and open a dedicated bank account to hold township funds for Yalfour York-area United Fire and Rescue equipment; Manager Mark said the township's share of equipment funding is roughly $2,000,000 over time and the dedicated account would accumulate contributions over multiple years.
Finally, the board approved a block motion to adopt Resolutions 2024-49 through 2024-52 authorizing applications for statewide local-share grant funding for listed equipment, including $107,003.75 for police radios. The board took the four resolutions together and approved them by voice vote.
