The Springettsbury Township Board approved multiple routine capital and contract actions during the meeting.
The board authorized a contract with Rheem Roofing to replace the wastewater treatment collection building roof for an amount not to exceed $67,350; the manager said the project is included in this year's capital budget.
The board also authorized the township manager to enter into an agreement with JF Petroleum Group for replacement of a leaking 2,000‑gallon above‑ground diesel storage tank at the wastewater treatment facility in an amount not to exceed $53,345.12 (Sourcewell contract O9292‑JFA). Board members confirmed the proposed tank includes secondary containment and leak monitoring.
Supervisors authorized advertising for bids for a township neighborhood park sign replacement project that is in the capital plan, and approved a second amendment to the articles of agreement with PA American Water Company extending that agreement's term to Nov. 1, 2024; staff said the extension is time to continue negotiations while PA American Water reviews township requirements.
All motions were moved and seconded and carried on voice votes; no roll‑call tallies were recorded in the public transcript.
The board also approved its consent agenda for routine items A–G.
