House rejects one rule suspension but approves reconsideration to introduce House Bill 116

Erickson then moved to reconsider the introduction vote on HB116; that motion, which required a simple majority, passed on a subsequent roll call (47 aye, 12 no, 3 excused), and House Bill 116 passed introduction to the House.
No floor debate altered the recorded tallies; the chief clerk administered both roll calls and the speaker announced the outcomes. The successful reconsideration procedurally returns HB116 to the body for further action consistent with the House's rules.
