Board members clarified that Echo Lake’s sewer system had been in a transportation corporation and that the town, as a municipality, will assume assets without assuming transportation corporation governance. The town will request exhibits from Amy’s (including manufacturer warranty documents) to be attached to the contract. The supervisor said the board expects to finalize the agreement and funding schedule within 30–45 days and asked board members to mark up the draft and forward comments to town attorney Allison for review.
The board tabled further action until counsel returns with a marked draft and a funding plan that avoids using general account money.
