Councilmembers asked whether operational responses would change; the chief said mutual aid automatic agreements remain in place and operational responses would not materially change under the administrative agreement, though some incremental administrative time is expected. Council approved the resolution; staff described the agreement as a one‑year alignment with the fiscal year subject to month‑to‑month exit provisions by either party.
