At the start of the evening’s later agenda, the planning board moved to determine that the Acorn Place senior residential community (SRC), filed with the town clerk on 11/19/2018, had been completed in substantial compliance with approved plans and conditions. The board accepted the as‑built plan titled 'Acorn Place as built of land in Millis, Mass' (4 sheets, prepared by Legacy Engineering and dated 11/18/2025) as satisfactory documentation and found minor deviations did not require modification. The motion to close out the special permit passed by voice vote.
Steve Carden, president of the Acorn Place Board of Trustees, spoke on behalf of the community and thanked the planning board for two years of cooperation during the project’s completion process. Board members acknowledged the work and closed that agenda item.
No further action was required by the planning board on the special permit following acceptance of the as‑built plan.
