Board Chair (unnamed) summarized attributes the board cited in the evaluation: leadership, a clear vision they described as "Engineering Success," strong academic leadership, active community and higher‑education partnerships, creation of mentorship programs for teachers and new hires, budget stewardship and advocacy for middle‑school funding. "Mister Brock, as you know, this is his first year being our superintendent, and we as a board feel that he has done an exemplary job in leading the district," the chair said.
The board said they had conducted the evaluation in closed session and returned to open session to announce the outcome; no further contractual changes were reported at the meeting. Brock thanked the board during the open session remarks.
