Council passed an ordinance on second reading to approve the final plat for Fieldstone Place Phase 5, a project described by staff as about 24 building lots on roughly 8.828 acres. Planning staff told council the plat had been reviewed and approved by the planning board and no members of the public spoke during the hearing.
Council also approved a resolution authorizing a construction (subdivider) agreement for Summit Landing Section 2. Staff said Summit Landing will be built in four total phases totaling roughly 170 homes; Section 2 comprises approximately 60 homes on about 22 acres. The resolution was adopted after the public hearing was opened and closed with no public comment.
Both items had planning board review and staff said details are available from the city planning office. Council approved both measures on roll call votes.
What happens next: With approvals in hand, developers may proceed with the construction steps outlined in their agreements and permits; staff noted that project specifics could be addressed to Mr. Spring (planning staff) if council or residents have additional questions.
