Massage therapist says licensing delayed; board to place item on Feb. 23 consent agenda

Britney Crossley told the Mount Pleasant Village Board during public comment on Feb. 9 that she is a licensed massage therapist and had understood her licensing matter would be considered at the meeting.
"My name is Britney Crossley. I'm a licensed massage therapist, and I'm just here to represent my business because I was told it was gonna be on the docket and discussed," she said. Crossley said her address is in Kenosha and that she does not live in Mount Pleasant but hopes to practice in the village. She said she has been without income for about two months and asked the board to consider the item.
Board members and staff replied that the matter had been discussed at a Committee of the Whole meeting she missed and that it will be placed on the consent agenda for the Feb. 23 meeting. Crossley thanked the board for their consideration.
