The court also presented a certificate of appreciation to Kyle Cook for five years with the constables office, and to Lisa Woodruff for five years of service as the office manager/clerk for the same precinct. Commissioner Fenton presented the award to Cook; Commissioner Watts presented the recognition for Woodruff. Speakers highlighted Woodruffs role managing paperwork and office funds and called her a credit to Wichita County.
The court paused for photographs and brief remarks. The court then moved on to public comment and regular business.
The proclamation and the brief awards ceremony were ceremonial actions and did not require a formal vote beyond the courtrooms customary adoption of honors. No fiscal commitments beyond existing budgets were recorded during the recognitions.
