During the Feb. 10 meeting the commission’s agent reported that site work at Pinecrest Village was largely completed for the detention pond and that the pond appeared well graded.
Commissioners asked staff to withhold final approval of house siting until the project team supplies a last set of house-location plans. Members said an excavation for one proposed house encountered groundwater at about two feet, and they instructed the developer to submit revised house plans and any plan changes that might require modification of the commission’s order of conditions. The agent and members noted the importance of completing road drainage and associated work before additional house construction proceeds and asked that engineers document final grades and any necessary drainage changes.
Next steps: applicant must submit final house-location plans, and the commission will review whether changes are significant enough to require a modification of the order of conditions. The commission requested that revised plans go into the record for the next meeting.
