The year-one uses the board reviewed included the hire of an additional certificated vocal/performing-arts teacher (to split middle/high school duties), expanded elementary vocal paraeducator hours, stipends/extra hours for middle-school performing-arts staff to support vertical alignment between sites, and Makers Lab supplies and after-school offerings. The report also cited field-trip funding and cross-site coordination to align elementary, middle and high-school programs.
Trustees asked for additional detail on project-level spending (exact staffing FTE, benefits, and materials expense) and for a clearer breakdown of elementary/middle/high spending ratios. Staff said itemized backup with counts, student-impact numbers and the precise staffing portion (including benefits) is available and offered to reformat the report for a subsequent update. The board approved the related consent agenda item after discussion.
