Because the project finished earlier than anticipated the architect adjusted a previous request and asked the jury to approve a no‑cost change order extending contract time by 93 days (from Nov. 5 to Feb. 6 as the achieved date).
Jurors asked about a final walkthrough and the architect said the design team and engineers have done internal walk‑throughs and will return for final acceptance; the architect said substantial completion paperwork will be issued with a February 6 date and that the remaining item is replacing temporary handrails before final fire‑marshal sign‑off.
The request is time‑extension only with no additional funds. Jurors indicated they will expect formal word from their project manager (Alex) before accepting substantial completion and to follow up at the March meeting.
