Panel advances bill to fund vertiports and charging systems for advanced air mobility

Public stakeholders waived in support, including Laura Yeomans of the Florida Justice Association, Jeff Sharkey of SkyDrive, and Colton Medill of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. A committee member praised the sponsor for bringing the bill into a posture suitable for committee consideration and noted vertiport planning is already underway in parts of the state.
The committee adopted the amendment and reported CS/CS for HB 1093 favorably by roll call.
