Council deferred the Sadie Ridge concept plan and approved a limited reduction in the letter of credit for Silo Bend phases 1 and 2 while reserving funds for landscaping.
When asked whether Sadie Ridge would return with a completely different site plan, planning staff (Speaker 11) said earlier site-plan documents had been rolled over and the developer is rerunning pro formas after economic changes to ensure financial viability before submitting a new plan. Council voted to defer the item to Dec. 18 at the developer—s request.
On a related development item, staff presented Resolution 24119 to reduce the letter of credit for Silo Bend phases 1 and 2 but to exclude landscaping from the reduction because the contractor could not complete landscape replacements before winter. "So this is all just for the streets, curb, utilities, things like that, and we reserve all the funds for the landscape," staff said. The council approved the limited reduction and will hold landscaping funds until spring.
