The Prince George County Planning Commission on Dec. 18 accepted an applicant request to defer RZ250008 (Branchestor Parkway Townhomes) to the February 26, 2026 Planning Commission meeting.
Jeff Geiger, speaking for the applicant, told the commission the team needs more time to study VDOT’s requested road improvements on Middle Road and to confirm space for turn lanes on Prince George Drive. “We would appreciate the planning commission's consideration of giving us some extended time to study some road improvements on Middle Road that VDOT is asking us to do,” Geiger said.
A commissioner moved to accept the deferral and reschedule the public hearing to the February 2026 meeting; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
