Senate refers bills, welcomes childcare advocates and adjourns until Feb. 10

The chamber welcomed former colleague Mark Kellgren and his daughter, Leah, to the galleries. Later in the session the presiding officer recognized the senator from Wenatchee (identified in the record as Senator Clemensch), who moved to adjourn the Senate until Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.; the presiding officer called for a voice vote, heard aye and announced the motion prevailed.
