The commission recommended approval of Zone Case 3325-B to reclassify a parcel north of 114th Street and east of Slide Road from High Density Residential (HDR) to Office (O).
Staff said 41 notices were mailed and the city received one letter in favor and one in opposition; staff saw no objection to the change and noted the future land-use map designates the area for mixed use. Jalen Holland of AMD Engineering said the applicant seeks 'garden offices' and answered commissioners’ brief questions. No members of the public spoke for or against the change at the meeting.
The commission voted 7–0 to forward the recommendation to City Council; the Council will consider the item Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m.
