The agenda materials listed RS24216 for multimedia equipment; the published packet shows a figure of $116,065, though a staff presentation referenced a different figure on slides. Staff said the project would be funded with PEG (public, educational and government) cable funds and recommended approving the procurement.
Route optimization for solid waste: Public works recommended authorizing addendum #3 to continue RouteWare route‑optimization and tracking support for the city’s solid‑waste fleet through Dec. 31, 2029. Presenters said RouteWare has been in use since 2015 and assists with driver routing, missed‑service documentation and dispute resolution; annual software and support costs were presented for the five‑year term.
Airfield lighting at Robert Gray Army Airfield: Aviation staff presented and council authorized an $800,000 airfield lighting control and monitoring system (ALCMS) installation at Robert Gray Army Airfield under the IGSA with Fort Cavazos; Fort Cavazos is funding the full cost as part of the intergovernmental support agreement and the city aviation department will manage procurement and installation.
Drainage master plan amendment: Council approved a $62,810 amendment to the Scheib Consulting contract for a FEMA flood model update and drainage master‑plan work near Rosewood Drive/Acorn Creek. Staff said a local developer will pay half the cost and the amendment increases an existing contract previously valued at $360,000.
Council noted that several of these items draw on restricted or partner funding (for example PEG funds or Fort Cavazos funding) and that normal procurement and warranty processes apply. All consent items passed as part of the consent agenda vote.
