Commissioners discussed shifting the recurring Planning Commission meeting time from 5:00 p.m. to an earlier slot, with several members saying earlier would improve attendance.
The Chair described recurring attendance problems and asked members whether a 3:00 p.m. start would work. Several members signaled they preferred an earlier meeting; one member said they could not commit to every second-Thursday at 5:00 p.m. due to conflicts. Staff asked that any permanent schedule still be the same day each month to aid agenda preparation.
No formal vote was taken. The commission agreed to put a proposal to change the start time to 3:00 p.m. on the December 12 agenda for an official vote. If approved, staff will coordinate adjustments in the calendar and notify stakeholders.
