Superintendent Troy Yarbrough reported the Progressive Components donation and listed four FOIA requests: Meredith Monte (employment records for 2014–2019), Peter Medlin (Northern Public Radio) requesting AI‑service contract copies (district response: no records), CT Mills seeking records for curriculum and instructional technology purchases, and Owen Wayne (Rockford Sun) asking for the names of AP scholars recognized by the board. HR reported 18 employments, 16 transfers and 10 resignations, including one retirement that revised a previously approved resignation. Board members then moved and approved a motion to enter executive session under the personnel exception (as cited in the transcript).
