Craven County approves multiple budget amendments, awards shoreline contract and accepts sheriff grant

Water Superintendent Dale Booth told the board that leak repairs totaled $93,000 as of March 1 and requested a $70,000 transfer into the maintenance-and-repair line to cover expected repairs through the fiscal year. Commissioners approved the $70,000 amendment by roll call.
