"The number's about $60,000,000," he said when describing capital projects the city may need to address, and he urged council caution when planning future spending.
Several community speakers thanked the mayor and reported local events: Scotty Harbell of American Legion Post 74 said the post served roughly 350–400 Thanksgiving meals and reminded the public of Wreaths Across America activities; staff member Ken Nessel reported cemetery asphalt and curbing work is complete and asked council to notify staff if they spot issues ahead of the wreath‑laying event.
Council discussed constituent concerns about whether the municipal golf course should close in December and January to avoid winter wear and tear. Leisure Services Director Ken Nelson said last winter’s restoration costs ran about $70,000 and that staff will compile revenue vs. restoration figures for review in the new year.
Mayor Green closed by encouraging continued attention to water infrastructure and thanking volunteers and staff for their service to the city.
