He urged the board to adopt a supporting resolution and join other counties that have done so.
Sheriff Adam (presented in personnel and personnel‑related items earlier in the meeting) and a board representative signaled support for reviewing the idea. In response to Bouchard, a board member said, "We'll work with the sheriff and be apprised of any legislation that comes out and what we'll do is kind of analyze it from there."
