Zach also said current residents were not the property owner. The inspector said staff and the owner were discussing options for removing a trailer on the property and the logistics of demolition or deconstruction.
The property owner, who was present at the meeting, said, "When I bought it, I had no idea what the inside of it was," and agreed to work with staff. Chair moved to approve Resolution 2025‑16 to set a public hearing for 404 Harrison; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Staff said the public hearing will allow the commission to make formal findings and set a timeline for compliance or remediation.
