The Hannah Ranch Sewer Main Project, which began in 2020, has restarted after litigation with the City of Fort Worth was settled, Everman staff told the council Sept. 24. A new contractor is on board and city staff will host a community construction meeting at the Civic Center on Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. The city said it will partner with Fort Worth on the project and will livestream the meeting for citizens unable to attend.
Staff described the project route as extending the sewer main from Anglin Street down Enon to Roycey C. Brooks and through associated industrial developments. The project will include installation of the sewer main and complete road reconstruction for roads impacted by the work, including a large portion of Enon Avenue.
Flyers will be made available and staff said they expect the reconstruction to follow the sewer installation. The council was not provided a construction timeline or budget amount in the meeting transcript; additional technical and fiscal details will be part of project outreach.
