Everman council tables June–August 2024 financial reports until next meeting

On Sept. 24 the Everman City Council removed the June–August 2024 financial reports from the consent agenda and discussed why they were not ready for receipt. Staff said June–August financials are still being finalized because the finance office was handling budget-season workload; expenditures require additional cleanup before the reports can be presented.
A councilmember moved to table the financial reports until the next meeting. The motion was seconded; when polled, the council recorded ayes and the motion carried.
Staff said finalized reports will be returned at the next meeting for the council to receive. The meeting transcript does not include a roll-forward of the specific expenditures to be corrected or an estimated dollar amount of outstanding adjustments.
