The officer said the property owners knew of the problems and had a manager working on remediation but progress had been insufficient.
Commissioner Redland (Speaker 11) moved to approve Resolution 2025-32 to commence the abatement process and set required public-notice steps; the motion was seconded and approved on roll call. Staff said the structure is not being demolished at this time — the immediate objective is to clean and make it habitable or otherwise proceed with the abatement process as allowed under local code.
