Mariposa County CCAC selects 2026 officers, adopts meeting calendar and tables minutes

The Code Compliance Advisory Committee held routine organizational business at the start of the meeting, electing leadership and setting the 2026 meeting calendar. Members nominated and approved Chris Casto as chair for the year and filled the vice chair position by majority consent.
On procedural business, committee member Colleen Rhodes moved to table approval of the November 14 and December 19 minutes; the motion was seconded by Rob Fox and the committee approved tabling the minutes to the next meeting.
The committee then considered the 2026 meeting calendar. Staff proposed standing meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2–4 p.m. and the committee discussed conflicts for members who work midweek. The committee voted to adopt the fourth-Tuesday schedule with the addition of a January 30 catch-up meeting.
No substantive policy decisions were finalized during these procedural items. The committee’s next meeting was set so staff can circulate revised materials (including an edited code chart) ahead of follow-up discussion on the AVA draft.
