Dallas police: 2 men dead, several wounded after early-morning shooting; DA to review

Deputy Chief William Griffith of the Dallas Police Criminal Investigations Group said an officer-involved shooting in downtown Dallas on Nov. 24 left two men dead and several others injured.
"This marks the seventh officer involved shooting for the Dallas Police Department in 2025," Griffith said as he described the preliminary investigative findings. He said officers were working an off-duty assignment at a business in the 2000 block of Commerce Street when a disturbance inside the business moved into the parking lot.
