Roosevelt — At its Dec. 2 meeting the Roosevelt City Council approved several consent and procurement items by unanimous votes.
- Previous meeting minutes: Council approved the minutes from Dec. 2 without amendment after a motion and second.
- Airport engineering services: Council approved an annual general engineering-services contract for Roosevelt Airport with JED Engineering with compensation not to exceed $10,000. Staff said funds were included in the current budget and the airport committee supported continuation of the firm.
- Bridal (gun) shooting complex earthwork: After a competitive bidding process that drew 12 bids, staff recommended the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Kolob Mountain Construction LLC (Virgin, Utah), with a bid of $143,900 (engineer’s estimate ~$225,000). Council approved awarding the contract.
- Financials: Council moved to approve the financials and purchase orders for the period; the motion passed unanimously.
