A listener question about the Juniper Crest Road connection and the Panorama development prompted an update from Herriman City Engineer Bryce Terry. Terry said the Panorama developer encountered delays while coordinating multiple private property owners, which postponed earlier hopes that Juniper Crest would be complete in 2025.
"They finally got to the point where all the property owners signed," Terry said, adding that the city is moving ahead with a plat to align right‑of‑way and that the design is largely complete. He said the city hopes to go out to bid this winter and build in spring and summer, with an optimistic opening in 2026, but cautioned that developer timing remains a limiting factor.
Terry noted the council required Panorama to complete Juniper Crest as a condition before homes in that subdivision can be sold. The city also plans intersection improvements at the Bridal Vista/Mountain View location, installing a traffic signal where there is now a stop sign and tying Juniper Crest into the signalized intersection once construction is complete.
LaFollette and Terry said Panorama has preliminary subdivision plans under review and that the developer is responsible for much of the work; the city will oversee design and coordinate schedules.
