Gina Hales said the district voted in October to move elementary students to the larger Dixon property to address space and program needs at Timpanogos. "We voted in October and decided to move the elementary students to the Dixon site," Hales said, noting that final design and timeline depend on bond-related funding phases and upcoming bids. She said the district will continue some programs on Timpanogos property and that the full Tempe View renovation will continue with final work through 2029.
On neighborhood action, the board considered a matching-grant request to pour a cement slab at a bus stop to improve wheelchair access. The chair called for a show of hands; organizers recorded an in-room count of 17 in favor and 0 against and separately noted Zoom participants who voted. The board authorized using matching-grant funds (quote for the cement pad: $1,940) and will coordinate city permissions and contractor work.
