Acting U.S. Marshal Marco Villarreal said the U.S. Marshals Service in North Texas has a long presence in the region and praised cooperation with the Dallas Police Department and other agencies. "The US Marshals in North Texas has been here since 1879," Villarreal said, adding that combined resources and expertise had produced successful fugitive apprehensions.
