Marysville City Council approved routine minutes, disbursements and payroll and unanimously approved a contract modification at its Jan. 26 meeting.
The council approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the Jan. 12, 2026 meeting, on a unanimous roll call following a motion by Council Member Watson and support from Mayor Pro Tem Winston.
On a separate action, the council voted to approve check disbursements dated Jan. 9, 2026, listed electronic disbursements from Jan. 20, 2026, and payment to Sherkey Electric for work at the city’s water filtration plant. The motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Winston and supported by Council Member Easter. Council Member Sherkey recorded an abstention; other members voted yes, and the motion passed with one abstention.
Council approved payroll for Jan. 30, 2026, on a unanimous vote after a motion by Council Member Badley supported by Council Member Dunne.
Finally, the council approved Contract Modification No. 1 for the Liberty Capital Potomac resurfacing project, adding $20,852.88 to cover additional hot-mix asphalt and wedging needed after delamination was discovered during construction.
