Board honors retiring Supervisor Linda T. Updike at final meeting

The board read a resolution that thanked Updike for "devoted service to the people of Southampton County" and voted to present a framed copy as a token of appreciation. Board members and attendees expressed thanks and holiday wishes; the chair told Updike, "We will miss you."
Also during the meeting the board reappointed Lynette (identified in comments as the current vice chair of SPSA) as the county's ex officio SPSA member.
