Dennis Bagley, executive director of SPSA, told the Southampton County Board of Supervisors on Sept. 23 that the regional authority has obtained permits to expand landfill Cells 8 and 9 and is pursuing a long-term alternative waste disposal contract intended to reduce landfill inputs and stabilize future tip fees.
