Board introduces five administrator appointments for next school year

Amanda (speaker 9) presented five administrator introductions the board approved to fill roles effective next school year: Dr. Melissa Lehi (appointed principal at Legacy Elementary), Lindsay LaPorte (principal, Soaring Heights PreK–8), Sarah Coniglio (assistant principal, Big Sky PreK–8), Alan Culpepper (assistant principal and athletic director, Skyline High School), and Jennifer Bocconi (coordinator of priority programs).
Dr. Lehi described her background in counseling and educational leadership and said she is "honored to serve as the principal of Legacy Elementary." Lindsay LaPorte, who is currently an assistant principal at Mead High School, said she is "beyond excited" and looks forward to serving the Soaring Heights community. Sarah Coniglio, a five-year St. Vrain employee, thanked the board and said she is excited to support the Mead community at Big Sky. Alan Culpepper, who referenced previous experience in athletics and operations, thanked the board for the opportunity to remain in the district. Jennifer Bocconi, a longtime district educator and former principal, was introduced as coordinator of priority programs.
Board members thanked the appointees and celebrated promoting internal candidates and retaining experienced administrators. The introductions were ceremonial; formal hiring actions and effective dates were described during the presentation, and incoming administrators will assume their roles on the timeline presented by HR.
