Board approves $2.704 million contract for Health & Human Services North County campus

The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors on Dec. 16 approved a construction agreement worth $2,704,000 with T & S Intermodal Maintenance Inc. (doing business as T & S West) for the Health and Human Services Agency’s North County Campus Remodel and Addition Project.
Kim (HHSA project lead) presented the contract, told the board staff planned to issue a notice to proceed on Jan. 8 if the agreement was approved and said the contract’s target occupancy date is Oct. 1. "So our goal is October 1," Kim said when asked about the schedule.
Supervisor Poe praised project staff, noting the large packet of supporting documents and frequent staff updates; Supervisor Toso seconded the motion to approve. The board voted 5‑0 to authorize the chair to sign the agreement and to authorize the HHSA director to be the county’s contract manager for amendments and related documents, subject to legal form review.
