Staff told the council that the amendment increases the previously amended funding to a total of $1,202,045 (an additional $409,589) and extends the project performance period through June 30, 2026. Public works staff said design costs are about $130,000 with construction estimated near $1,000,000, and that the project includes a contingency of roughly $79,000; if contingency is exceeded, staff identified an additional $100,000 city source that could be used.
