He said UDRC research typically takes about eight months and would provide empirical evidence for future policy discussions. Vice Chair Cole Kelly moved that the committee recommend board approval of the integrated mathematics research proposal; the motion passed unanimously.
What happens next: the recommendation will be sent to the full board for approval of the UDRC annual research agenda; the UDRC would then scope and schedule the study if included.
