Herriman youth council presents 'For the Fathers' babysitting project and sworn-in 2025–26 youth council members

Jackie introduced the 2024–25 youth council legacy project requirement and invited student presenters to describe their project "For the Fathers." Students (Summer, Gabriel, Sophia, Cassidy and others) explained they planned a one‑day Father's Day babysitting event to provide parents a break, used Google Forms registration to ensure safety, ran activity stations and provided pizza and lemonade, and gathered photographs to document the event. Presenters said the event hosted about six children and organizers left contact information so the service could be repeated.
The council then conducted a brief oath of office for the incoming 2025–26 youth council members; Jackie led the oath and each named youth came forward and was sworn in.
Council commended the students for their planning and execution and thanked them for community service.
