Council denies rezoning and development agreement for 3001 W. 4100 S. after resident concerns

West Valley City Council on July 8 denied both the proposed zone change (Ordinance 25-17) and the associated development agreement (Resolution 25-90) for property at 3001 West 4100 South, following multiple public comments raising parking, privacy and density concerns.

During the public hearing residents living adjacent to the site argued the project’s layout provides inadequate visitor parking and places parking in areas that could push cars into a bike lane.
