Staff presented a proposed amendment to a 2021 development agreement (Resolution 24-34) that would remove a small remnant parcel south of the extended Beagley/Beagle Road from the agreement, allowing a developer to acquire that sliver while the larger parcel and its development standards remain unchanged.
Staff explained that the rezoning and development agreement approved in 2021 required building design standards, a road extension and reimbursement language; the amendment would not alter those provisions for the main parcel. Council members asked a few clarifying questions about sidewalks and right-of-way obligations, and staff confirmed a 10-foot walkway requirement remains part of the larger agreement even if the small parcel is excluded.
Council raised no objection to adding the amendment to next week's consent agenda and the item was moved to consent for the regular meeting.
