Council approves series of resolutions on CPACE, traffic maintenance, overlays, cameras and park improvements

West Valley City Council approved a package of routine and capital measures Tuesday night that covered energy finance administration, traffic-signal maintenance, street overlays, fleet safety equipment and park improvements.
The council approved Resolution 25-25 to continue an agreement with Sustainable Real Estate Solutions Inc. to administer CPACE (commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) projects. Council members noted CPACE was enacted in Utah in 2013 and allows local governments to facilitate financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation improvements on commercial property.
