On the DaySpring request, Mears said the item was for a single booth at the 1-26 Fair running Aug. 9–15 and moved to approve a lease for $285. The motion was seconded and recorded as approved after affirmative responses in the meeting; the transcript records named affirmations from "Mister Myers" and "Mister Romero" and additional un-attributed affirmative responses.
An online participant identified as Carl said he had no questions and added, "Government that, governs less, governs best." With no further business, Mears declared the meeting adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
