Council members approved a motion to postpone action on the International Property Maintenance Code and related charter ordinances until a December 9 task force can review them and provide recommendations. The council separately voted against adding “source of income” as a protected class in the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance and declined to adopt the rental‑unit registration proposal as presented.
