City manager previews Feb. 3 agenda: water meter upgrades, consent items and Feb. 10 night meeting

City Manager Dennis told the agenda-review meeting that next Tuesday’s session will open with a celebration for the public library’s 150th anniversary but that the main council business on Feb. 3 will be continuation of the city’s large water meter upgrade program.
Dennis also flagged multiple consent items: planned assessments tied to the state narcotic seizure fund, nuisance abatement and lock-cleanup costs the city intends to place on assessment rolls, as well as three housing-related consent items that include property sales and an airport lease update.
Looking ahead, Dennis previewed the Feb. 10 meeting as a night session beginning at 6 p.m. that will include a public hearing on the Mammoth Clubhouse and time dedicated to five sales-tax-related resolution edits the council had previously discussed. He said staff would try to circulate drafted resolutions earlier than usual so council members and the public could review them before the meeting.
Unidentified Speaker 4 announced a related neighborhood-level meeting: the district advisory board will meet Monday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Westlink Library, where Bridal Water Partners and Ron Coder will present.
The agenda review closed with an acknowledgement of no further questions and the meeting was adjourned.
